“…Watching ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington’ again for the fourth time the other day, I couldn’t help think that the Stewart character reminded me more of Barack Obama – character trumping experience – than it did the pistol-packing Palin and her “you betcha” politics of bundled resentments. McCain chose ‘country first’ as his campaign motto, but with Palin he got country and western instead….”…BS
