“…McCain, in launching his electoral ad campaign with a sneer, is giving frank expression to his most unappealing characteristic, which is a penchant for sarcasm. When a mirth-maker insults someone, and then, when called on it, seeks to cloak the insult by saying, ‘It was just a joke,’ one has to ask, ‘Who’s he kidding?’ . A sarcastic person is the last to understand why sarcasm is not funny….”…BS
