    What a very interesting article. However while I do see that Life Satisfaction is as, if not more important than GDP, I don’t quite see one replacing the other.
    The important thing must be to stop the treadmill effect getting more and more out of hand without turning recession into depression.
    But look at this very blog. Is it not something of a treadmill in itself? Seems that we can’t live with it and can’t live without it.
