No retreat on school reform (Edward M. Kennedy)

The No Child Left Behind Act is due for re-authorization five years after it was passed. Personally, I think it is a disgrace and an outrage – since it has morphed education into test preparation, even for kids in Third Grade. It’s a kind of brainwashing. But in the interest of fairness I post this. The senior Senator from Massachusetts – one of the lead authors of the act – says there are still huge jobs to be done in education…BS
