Surprise Check Faults MGH Quality of Care

Some say that “MGH” stands for “Man’s Greatest Hospital”. Certainly, The Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School’s flagship institution – is emulated and admired all over the world, and is among the top 10 hospitals in the US. A surprise inspection – like the one that happened recently at the hospital were I work – revealed a surprising amount of sloppiness. Not severe enough to lose accreditation, but enough to make front page news in Boston…BS
