The David Geffen mess is just one of a series of self-defeating in-fights among this year’s crop of Democratic party presidential candidates, the most talented group seen since the sixties. Let’s focus on the issues, folks, instead of setting up another “circular firing squad” to dumb down and trivialize the party. The negative stuff pushed two important stories out of the news: a fight between McCain and Cheney over the Iraq war, and the first serious debate among the Democratic contenders (only Obama failed to attend)….BS
