What’s next — war with Iran?

After rebuking and ignoring the recommendations of the bipartisan Iraq Study Group, Bush and his cronies have begun doing more than just rattling their sabers at Iran. According to Seymour Hersh, preparations for war in Iraq are far more advanced than simple contingency planning. There is open talk in Israel of a military mission to disable Iran’s nuclear program. Greenway thinks widening the Iraq War would be just as disastrous as the widening of the Vietnam War in the early 1970’s. He urges all parties to step back and take a deep breath before plunging headlong into a conflict that could spread far beyond the Middle East…BS
