NYT: Children’s Quality of Life Is on the Rise, Report Finds

If this is true, it is a welcome sign. As an aside, although not scientific, my own observations here in “mean-spirited” NYC is the same: I have noticed a decrease in parent-child confrontation, and an increase in parent patience and genuine interaction.
