There are strong parallels between the botched trial and disgraceful lynching of Saddam Hussein by the Shiite dominated Iraqi government under “President” Nuri al-Maliki and the puppet leader placed on the Iraqi throne by the British during World War I as they struggled against the Ottoman Turks. The central question is: what happens when the puppets want to pull their own strings? This is Greenway at his best: historically literate, persuasively eloquent and consistently entertaining…BS
