Reiterating the keys to peace

Former President Jimmy Carter, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002, delivers a passionate capsule version of his new book on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, entitled “Palestine: Peace, Not Apartheid”. His approach is dignified and ethical as he outlines the desperate straits of the Palestinian people in a crippled and divided and imprisoned land.

He proposes a new round of peace initiatives, led either by the US alone or by The International Quartet (the US, Russia, the United Nations and the European Union). Because all concerned parties are trapped in the current state of affairs, and because all of them desire and need peace in the region, he predicts enthusiastic and grateful participation – despite years of neglect by The Decider and his handlers…BS
