Bush listened, but did he hear?
By Eugene Robinson | Friday, December 8, 2006 | The Washington Post
This is about the Iraq Study Group’s report. You can tell from the title that columnist Eugene Robinson thinks ‘The Decider’ did not really get their message, and that he is still locked in fantasy and delusions of victory, ignoring obvious truths. But this piece is much more than that. It reveals some of the truly striking findings of the Baker panel in their investigative report. Robinson then passes on insights on the process and the White House reaction taken from an interview with a commission member, Vernon Jordan (a name we have not heard since the Clinton Adminsitration, when he was the Ultimate Insider). Well worth your time…BS
