The “code” in the title is thinly veiled Republican racism. It is so ironic that bigotry is one of the fundamental ‘values’ of the party of Abraham Lincoln – but that is the cudgel they used to win the South from the entrenched ‘Dixiecrats’ in the seventies. This is a timely review of the controversial campaigns in Tennesse and Virginia – a story I am sure you will find both disturbing and enlightening, and in the final analysis, astonishing. We hippies thought the bigots would all be dead by now. We were so wrong…BS
