Racial Profiling Won’t Stop Terror

A clearly reasoned and well expressed idea from two Think Tank members at the RAND Corporation who have worked on ths very question. They compare the current anti-terror security measures to the failed War On Drugs begun under the Nixon Administration, and there are many important parallels.

The main idea here is that frisking only young Muslim men “…will send a message to terrorists that they can evade detection by sending people who do not fit this profile on deadly missions”. I can just see it now…Grannies with guns…Barbies with bombs…WASPs with Stingers…BS
