In case anyone isn’t keeping up with L’Affaire Plame, this is a good primer to sum up everything that happened in the last few months. The author, Robert Parry, wrote about Iran-Contra for the Associated Press and this piece is a lot less confusing to read than most of the reporting on this story. A little while ago, Richard Armitage (Colin Powell’s deputy) admitted to being Novak’s source .. and ever since all the blow hards on the right, with help from the Wash Post and NY Times, are calling for Fitzgerald’s head, calling him an overzealous prosecutor for going after Rove etc etc. Read this and you’ll understand the big picture .. and the reason why Fitzgerald is still working the case. Stay tuned.
