It's mind blowing to me Mike as it obviously is to others on this list. Just 
makes me wanna walk up to her, smeared with patchouli, burning a stick of 
incense, and hand her a daisy and string of love beads!
Ya gotta love it, "Make a poster on a book you read." "Oh wait a minute; I 
was just shining you on. I meant, make a poster on a book you read that I 
absolutely approve of. You know like Moby Dick or Tale of Two Cities, 
something that doesn't have dirty, obscene hippies running around espousing 
foreign & Commie virtues of peace, love, & freedom. We can't have that in MY 
class. MY country, love it or leave it!! Now, what was I saying?"

we read, and I picked the pocketbook of Hair. I started and my teacher said 
she was disgusted that I picked it. She said it was an obscene and tasteless 
piece of garbage about people on drugs. After an argument, she was all mad 
and told me to do whatever  I wanted, but she rambled on and on all hour 
about how it was about acid, mushrooms and lazy hippies.
