Thanks for all the responses, both on the list, and privately!

It's interesting that there seems to be a West Coast bias in many of
these accountings...

(The only book that I could come up with, the other night, that covered
those years, in New York, was a history I had read years ago, of THE
VILLAGE VOICE...)

There's probably also some nice material on the East Village scene, and
West 4th's/Bleecker's environs, in some of the rock star, and artist
bios, from the era, out there...
