[Mb-hair] RE: Lamont

Lamont was a talented, dear person. I actually worked with him several
times pre-HAIR in some promotional singing performances in department
stores!  He was riding on his fame as Sammy Daivs Jr.'s understudy in
"Golden Boy".

I spoke to him a week before the fire regarding coming to see him in the
show. Needless to say, it took me a long time to get up my nerve to see
it (and of course when I did, I freaked. Oh my God, I was destined to be
in it!).
