This is a very interesting summary of another religion sent by list member
living in Paris. It is very interesting, making me wonder about its
connection to a future according to "The Rapture".

Now that I have been able to awaken you gently with softness, it is the time
to send you "The Age of Kali" I was impressed with what you wrote, many
months ago, about the darkness that surrounds us and your conception of the
Forces of Evil. You are so very wise....how have you learned about these
forces?

The Indian Vishnu Purana. Time is divided into 4 great epochs,
according to ancient Hindu cosmology. Each age is succesively, from Bad to
Worse, represents a period of increased moral and social deterioration.
The first epoch was known as "The Golden Age", the age of perfection. We
are now in "The Age of Kale", the 4th and final epoch. Now, out of strife,
darkness, corruption and disintergration normal conventions fall apart and
anything is possible to occur.

To quite from a 7th Century Hindu Script........The Kings ( rulers
anywhere on earth ) of the Age of Kali will be addicted to corruption and
will seize the property of their subjects. We are living in the final
"Age of Darkness" which will see catastropic upheaval. The Age in which we
now live is an Age of the decline of righteousness.

Property and wealth alone will confer rank....falsehood will be the only
means of sucess in litagation. Corruption will be the universal means of
subsistence. Thus in the "Age of Kali" shall strife and decay constantly
proceed until the human race approaches annihilation.

According to ancient sacred Hindu scrips, the "Age of Kale" is the last age
before the world is destroyed by "THE FIRE OF ONE THOUSAND SUNS" after
which the cycle reaches its conclusion....time momentarily stops...the wheel
turns again and the new cycle begins.

Robert Oppenheimer, in 1945, as he witnessed the 1st nuclear explosion
uttered aloud lines that he quoted from the Indian "GITA" (13th Century
poetry)

GITA " If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the
sky....that would be like the splendor of the Might One. I am become Death,
the Shatterer of the world."

Beau,

I read all of the above, many years ago......the knowledge gives me some
sense of peace in view of the the election of Bush, the War, the
re-election.....Iran.....Aids......Africa......the Pope.....all of the truly
terrible events that are taking place in our lifetime. How do I find
peace? By appreciating the simple beauties of life that are to be found
amid all of the strife.

I will be interested to know more about your "forces of evil"........you
have such knowledge about so many of life's important values.
another morningtime kiss to fill your day with happiness! XXX Belle
I believe also that the lowering of elegance in the US emerges from the Age
of Kali.........it is more complex than what your friend said about the
culture now found in music, film, clothing,
manners..............kisses........for tonight, also!
