The Biltmore is currently under renovation, on it's way to being the home of the Manhattan Theater Club. These photographs show the renovations as they had progressed in June of 2001. Note that the buildings west of the Biltmore towards 8th Avenue have all been torn down (red and orange wall) and therefore the old stage door alley, which used to run along the west side of the building,  is now gone...
