May Compromise

Indications are that Hair management will accept the Massachusetts Supreme Court ruling and clothe the performers and make the required excisions rather than close permanently and refund the more than $600,000 already in.

Although Michael Butler, the show's producer, has been quoted as saying he would not compromise, he is understood to have changed his mind after the denial of his injunction plea to prevent the arrest of cast members of Hair who were to give performances in defiance of court orders.
