Cast Biographies

Dionne Nicole


Dionne Nicole is a spirited actress entering her third year of college as a Musical Theatre major. Her past theatre roles have been Rose Alverze in Bye Bye Birdie and the character "Steel" from A Piece of My Heart. One day she hopes to be a valuable part in the entertainment world.



Trevor H. Olsen

Trevor H. Olsen is in MFA Acting Program at CSUF. He graduated from the BFA Actor Training Program at the University of Utah. Past roles include Godspell, The Man of Mode, Little Shop of Horrors, Equus, Guys and Dolls, Hedda Gabler, Merrily We Roll Along, and A Doll's House. Trevor would like to thank his family and friends for their never-ending love and support. Thank you, Grandma.



Brian Overbeck

Brian Overbeck has been acting since high school, starring in such productions as Fiddler on the Roof and The Pajama Game. His goal in life is to be happy no matter what he does. Brian would like to dedicate the run of HAIR to his brother, Tim.



Paul Pederson

Paul Pederson is a recent graduate from CSUF. While at CSUF, he enjoyed a variety of roles including Banquo in Macbeth, Andie in And a Nightingale Sang, Sergius in Arms and the Man, and most recently, Jack in A Lie of the Mind. Paul is an active member of The Friends of the Dead, and dedicates his performance to his uncle Jerry.


Tom Proprofsky


Tom Proprofsky is currently a senior at CSUF. He has recently appeared at the Hollywood Bowl performing a tribute to George Gershwin with Jodie Benson, Harry Groener, and Lorna Luft, and Disney's Peter Pan with Paige O'Hara and Timothy Noble. Recent productions include Amahl and the Night Visitors, The Night of the Iguana, and the operatic version of The Crucible.



Misty Reams

Misty Reams is a senior at CSUF working on her BA in Theatre Arts. Her favorite roles include Lemon in Aunt Dan and Mary MacGregor in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Other credits include Adding Machine, Barefoot in the Park, HAIR, Grease, Godspell, and Miracle Worker.


Wichasta V. Reese


Wichasta V. Reese is a recent graduate of CSUF, having fulfilled her degree in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in musical theatre and acting. Past credits include Connie in Sea of White Hopes, Lottie in Heuotrope Boquet, Eunice in A Street Car Named Desire, and Hortense in The Boyfriend. She is excited to truly experience HAIR and everything it has to say. It's scary how history, if not learned the first time, can be repeated.



Nathan C. Sanford

Nathan C. Sanford is a Gemini who has been working in the theatre since the age of 7. Some of his favorite roles include Elliot in Private Lives, Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richie in Bleacher Bums, and the title role in Sweeney Todd. Nathan also worked as the musical director in a recent production of Working. He wishes to all, "PEACE, LOVE, FREEDOM, and HAPPINESS."



Matthew Schleicher

Matthew Schleicher is a recent graduate of CSUF's Theatre Arts Program where he appeared in many productions both on-stage and backstage. His acting credits include You Can't Take It With You, Mack and Mabel, and Kingdom of Earth. He also has designed lighting for Baby, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, and The Heidi Chronicles. Matt's special effects for this show include smoke, liquid projections, and video projections.



Ryan Simmons

Ryan Simmons is a recent graduate of CSUF's Musical Theatre program where he earned his BA. At CSUF, he played the role of Hud in HAIR, the Staff Watcher in The Memorandum, Fleance in Macbeth, and he originated one of the roles of Nick in a double-casted original play of the Kaleidoscope Players titled The Trouble with Nick. Ryan wants to pursue a career on stage as well as in film. Peace!


Rod Surratt


Rod Surratt became involved in theatre early in high school, participating in such shows as The Crucible and Fools, and directing a one-act play called The Actor's Nightmare. He hopes to someday play the role of George in his favorite play, Of Mice and Men.
