The team of Chicago-based web authors Imaginary Landscape and theatrical producer Michael Butler will continue to explore the creative connections for theatre and the Internet with this summer's revival of the 1960's classic musical HAIR, playing at the Athenaeum Theater from August 2nd through September 1st. BROWSE THE HAIR '96 WEB SITE DURING INTERMISSION To give the Internet-shy a chance to browse their first web, Imaginary Landscape will bring the HAIR '96 site right into the lobby for the length of the Chicago run. Michael Butler's award-winning web site offers theatre lovers a wealth of information about the show and the man behind the scenes. Developed by Imaginary Landscape, the site features HAIR '96, an insider's look at the development of the new musical Pope Joan, Orlok Productions and Cyberbil!, and the fascinating "Pages From Michael Butler's Journal."
Imaginary Landscape will have their Psychedelic Surf Shack available before each show and at intermission for those who wish to enjoy a quick surf through the world of Michael Butler. The generous assistance of Sun Microsystems helped make the dream of surfing in the lobby into reality.
