AlterNet: Where Does the Right-Wing End and the Media Begin?
DON'T YOU SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING! This is not the tip. This is the iceberg. Without the freedom of the press America does not have a chance. The rise of the great media conglomerates ensures the majority of Americans being kept in the dark. These enormous corporations owe their fealty to the government not to the people. Currently the FCC is trying to broaden their powers. Don't just blame it on Bush, though he is the current culprit. Look at what happened during Clinton. Ask not what the politicians are going to do for you-Nothing. They all would like to mussle the press. Without the internet you wouldn't be reading this.
