    Yes, the Internet is on the “hit list,” but, I believe that the first target are the alternative publications that rely on the US Mail. The USPO is, apparently very secretively, revamping their rate structure in a way that will bankrupt all but the largest publishers. Apparently this new rate structure was devised by Time-Warner, the largest publisher!

    Yes, the Internet is a major target, but I believe that the first targets are the smaller, independent publications that rely on the US Mail. I understand that there is a new rate structure, created by Time-Warner (the largest publisher), that will bankrupt, or severly adversly impact, the smaller publications. Apparently the Post Office brass is attempting to sneak this new structure through without public comment or publicity, and over the opposition of their own advisors.
