Book Review: “Blowback”
BLOWBACK by Chalmers Johnson
Originally written in 2000 it has a section post 9/11. However the rest of the book shows a prescience so pertinent today. A real study in the consequences of so many acts of our government.
“Blowback” is a term created by the CIA to show the unintended results of our foreign actions.
The detail and study of these areas is very impressive. It refers in depth to the imperial overreach by our government. This book, the first in a trilogy, would be a profound beginning to bring one real comprehension of why we are oft referred to as “The Evil Empire”.
It also influenced me to study further and I am now into his 2nd volume. I do strongly suggest you read this book.
