Actually, when I saw that episode, I began putting together a package for Mr. Maher on this issue, since I have been a member of the 9/11 Truth movement longer than most and have a wide range of materials. The package contains videos, printed material and a non-combative cover letter in which the only “confrontational” question is how someone with his socio-political credentials could so easily “buy” the story of Bush, Cheney & Co. and the hopelessly compromised 9/11 Commission.
As an aside, I doubt very much that his comment was anything but genuine; i.e., that he is not simply worried about losing his job if he discusses the issue. Because if he really disbelieved the “official story,” he is savvy and brilliant enough to have made that segment far more ambiguous, and at least leave a LITTLE room to wonder. He did not.
