RoadRunner, the cable-based Internet service from Time-Warner, has a series of (usually) 72-hour unsicentific “snap” polls on various subjects, both serious and fun. Here is a sampling of some results from the past few days.

Did the Univeristy of Florida police use excessive force (tasering)?
52% yes, 48% no (not skewed nearly enough…)
Should prayer be allowed in the public schools?
77% yes (on an individual basis), 12% not allowed, 11% mandatory
Does the justice system give celebs preferential treatment?
95% yes, 5% no (no surprise here…)
Was Bobby Bonds’ 756th home run “tainted?”
64% yes, 36% no
Do you own a copy of Sgt. Pepper?
80% no, 20% yes (?!?!?!)
Have you ever been in a real fist fight?
57% yes, 43% no (this is really sad…)
Would you try deer sushi?
81% no, 19% yes (whatta buncha fraidy-cats…)
Do you support more surveillance cameras in your city?
75% yes, 25% no (not a good sign…)
Do you support CIA ops on U.S. citizens?
52% necessary sometimes, 30% dissapprove, 18% fully support

74% no, 26% yes
Should the U.S. set a date for withdrawal of troops from Iraq?
58% yes, 42% no
