The destruction of history in Iraq.
A devastating article by Fisk about the mass looting and illegal excavating of archaeological treasures in Iraq. A direct consequence of our wicked and disgraceful invasion. This is not to diminish the horror of 800,000 +/- Iraqi dead and the millions forced to flee their homeland. I understand that Greenspan feels that the invasion was all about oil ( well, who didn’t?). It seems to me that that oil will come to the US with a very high karmic price.
