Was DSK framed? Great article in today’s FT

Looks like a brilliant black op. I was always very sceptical about the rape, to the outrage of my wife, who accused me of archtypical male chauvinism! No doubt that DSK due to his own chronic sexual hooliganism made himself vulnerable to this kind of sabotage, particularly given the current zeitgeist where the victim is initially generally given more credence than the alleged attacker. And then the ‘Perp Walk’… Sarkozy must have been jumping for joy. Fascinating article. All credit to D.A. Cyrus Vance for eventually realizing it was a scam and having the courage to drop it but by then DSK was finished. Mutual friends in France tell me is a truly broken man.

If you tie down some of the people around this caper I never doubted it from day one.Good way to get rid of the competition. mb
