NYT Guest Op-Ed (Posner): Single Bullet, Single Gunman

“How the new J.F.K. tape hurts the conspiracy buffs.”
Balderdash. Despite the single aspect discussed (and even THAT aspect does not “prove” anything), Posner ignores all the other thus-far-still-unexplained aspects of the assassination, including (i) the re-mapping of the original route, which would not have made that sharp turn, thus causing the limo to slow down, (ii) the “black-out” of the route map in the second edition of the Dalls morning paper (the original route – without the turn – was published in the early edition), and (iii) most importantly, the “stand down” of the military presence that was required for every presdiential motorcade preceding this one.
Indeed, even if Posner is correct re the “bunched up” jacket and shirt causing a misinterpretation of the bullet entry, there is still the fact that it said bullet would have had to make a few “stops”
along an impossibly circuitous trajectory.
Posner has proven nothing but his own myopic view.
