    Yes, but are we talking simply passing articles of impeachment, or actually removing form office? If the former, there is no reason not to go for it.

    However, if the latter, keep in mind that it is hard enough to pass articles of impeachment and remove ONE person (the president) from office. But do we really want Cheney as president for two years? Otherwise, it would require the passage of articles of impeachment and removal of TWO people. And that is simply unrealistic, no matter how much we may want it.
