NYT Op-Ed (Herbert): Working Harder for the Man

“Our productivity improves, and the C.E.O. rakes it in.” As the top five Wall Street firms give out between $36 and $44 BILLION in bonuses – an average of $250,000 per person, with some earning as much as $40 million – the average worker’s wages rose by $3.20 per week.
