The Hanging: Beyond Travesty

Conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer is a real political thinker, and while I may not agree with his personal politics, I deeply respect his opinions, and I follow his column. I frequently send his best pieces to this Blog so that our group shares a diverse range of opinions.
Krauthammer is not just another neo-conservative ‘ditto-head”. To the contrary, I think of him as a libertarian and an independent who values personal freedom, participatory democracy, true equality and genuine justice above all. He is historically literate, stylistically brilliant and above all, a forceful advocate for fairness and high ideals.
Over the last few years he has increasingly been a voice of protest against the abuses of power by The Decider and his neo-con puppeteers. This piece is written in righteous wrath about the shocking mess that was made of Saddam Hussein’s trial and execution. It is, in short, Krauthammer at his best…BS
