Although it is clear that there is an undercurrent of racism and xenophobia in the tea party movement, it is simply too easy to “write it off” as such. From what I can tell, this is just another example of the corporate media machine/echo chamber creating yet another “us/them” paradigm to keep us fighting among ourselves instead of focusing on the real “them” – the corporate-political-military-media state.
