from U Mass Amherst’s Political Economy Research Institute we get the S&P 100 of polluters .. a whole lotta energy (Exxon #2, Sunoco #3) and steel (Arcelor Mittal #5, Steel Dynamics Inc #6) companies .. chemicals (Du Pont #4), cars (Ford #8), agrobusiness (Archer Daniels #7) .. curiously, the #1 world polluter is Bayer, the German pharma/high tech company who on their website say they are “committed to the principles of sustainable development and to its role as a socially and ethically responsible corporate citizen” – mab .. read more
