“…Theodore Cross inspires more tributes than feathers on a wing. Cross, who died this week at 86, was an amazing model of reinvention. He ended his life being noted for his incredible nature photography in the 2009 book ‘Waterbirds.’ Uninterested in birds until his 40s, he told the St. Petersburg Times last month, ‘I savor in my imagination events of great richness of nature that I was unequipped to understand earlier.’….”….BS
