Plumb out of mission

This Iraq analysis cuts to he heart of the matter: far worse than Vietnam, where the US at least knew which side it was on, in Iraq the US has no allies, no realistic goals for the occupation, and is mired in a situation where chaos is sure to follow whether we leave promptly or in the distant future. Great stuff, particularly considering where this article is placed: not in some fringe blog or freebie leftist paper but in the Washington Post, which is on the desk of every important politician in Washington and many Big Desks around the world. One hopes it will be read by those in power – including James Baker and the Iraq Study Group. The arguments are powerful and clearly stated…BS
