We gotta watch those Dems like a hawk!

Until voters demand equitable economic policy, we should not expect members of Congress to take the lead…

..will Congress [ensure] that wages increase automatically with the cost of living?

Will Congress pursue any of the other new ideas developing at the state and local level to strengthen economic mobility by making bad jobs into better jobs?

Will we see federal policy movement toward the delinking of health care coverage from employment, like steps taken in a few states and one locality (San Francisco, natch)?

How about ensuring that all employees are offered a limited number of paid sick days as one city (yeah, yeah—San Francisco again) did on November 8?

Will Congress take action to clarify that employees are free to organize and negotiate for better jobs?

..and .. um … Will congress take a big slice out of the bloated military budget?..Will Congress break up the media monopolies in TV and Radio?..Will Congress give us universal health care?..Will congress stop harassing emerging 3rd world democracies that elect socialists?..Will congress end the “personhood” of corporations that give them the same rights as an individual?..Will congress free the thousands of non-violent drug users from jail?..Will congress…
