NYT Guest Op-Ed: Keeping the Voting Clean

A law professor suggests that it is not the new electronic voting machines per se that are a problem – though they do have problems. Rather, it is that even were the machines perfect, the elections would still be in the hands of “party hacks” instead of a non-partisan, non-political organization.
