Mcjoan at Daily Kos gives another good summary of the call Obama had with bloggers on helping him pass health care reform .. this is an encouraging development but there’s still the army of lobbyists and blue dogs to overcome .. this is going to be a colossal fight to push decent legislation through .. for me its a depressing scenario given the massive majorities in congress .. you like to think we live in a functioning democracy but the dynamic if this whole health care mess paints a pretty clear picture, and it ain’t pretty – mab .. read more
