In honor of Big Al getting certified, here’s a piece that was published on Alternet back in 2002 shortly after Wellstone’s plane went down .. It gives a good primer on which politicians died in plane crashes and when (John Tower, chair of Iran/Contra’s Tower Commission; Hale Boggs, of the, um, Warren Commission) .. a phenomenon that began in the 70s .. Niman writes “Anyone familiar with my work knows that I’m certainly not a conspiracy theorist.
