As I have noted many times now, one thing NOT discussed here is the shredded state of the Constitution and the evisceration of many critical Acts. Will Obama undo the damage Bush has done? Will he “give back” those powers Bush/Cheney have taken via executive orders, signing statements, etc. to create a more unitary, “imperial” executive? Will he bring full power back to habeus corpus and the Posse Comitatus Act, and end domestic wiretapping and other privacy-intrusive actions?

None of this is being discussed, and it is troubling.

    Peace.
