FT comes out in support of Obama
‘So what?’ you may well say ‘What right does a Limey newspaper have to pontificate about the Democratic nomination?’ Well, I suppose that they are rather an international opinion leader but inspite of that, having twice come out strongly against Berlusconi, on unimpeachable grounds (i.e. he is a crook, who has all but destroyed what few institutions Italy has left), the Italians voted convincingly for him. I suppose that the average Italian voter does not read the FT, anymore probably, than blue collar democrats in Pennsylvania.
