David Gregory is a TV host, not a journalist. A journalist does research, develops knowledgeable sources, educates themselves on the subject matter, then presents conclusions–usually in written form.
A TV program brings public figures that present their usually very dubious views. The host is an employee of a large corporation that expects to sell advertising for a profit and to keep their own unsavory activities hidden.
I have yet to see one of these hosts call out a guest who is lying through their teeth. Nor have I seen a host act in any way that is not politically correct. Gregory’s question and comments to Greenwald reek of corporate policy; this is absolutely “advocacy”.
The point was to disparage Greenwald and to distance Gregory and his corporate employer and to establish their elite bona fides.
The only question in this whole revelation that matters is: what will we do with our out-of-control government?
