continued rubbishing the Democratic candidate will help to get us Bush III

I would obviously never vote for McCain, nor support him in any way. Thus, your comment is the equivalent of those who say that “dissent is treason”; i.e., saying bad things about the U.S. or the war in Iraq only “emboldens the terrorists.” Poppycock.
I speak the truth as I see it. And I warned all of the Obama supporters that this would happen – but no one wanted to listen. All of you were caught up in his rhetoric, and were not paying attention to who he actually is – and where it would lead. Some of us were not so charmed.
Yes, he is still better than McCain, by a long shot. But as he continues his move toward the center – and “politics as usual” – his policies and positions become less and less distinguished from Hillary’s. Indeed, he has backed away from his position on the FISA “immunity clause” for telecoms, as well as his position on NAFTA. This says volumes about his rhetoric versus his intentions.
I will not be silent about the direction that Obama is taking – especially as it belies alot of what separated him from Hillary. Only now, it doesn’t.
