“…I asked each of the campaigns what they would do with the detainees. McCain’s campaign responded in an e-mail that truly dangerous detainees could be held in facilities like Fort Leavenworth. Clinton would refer the Guantanamo cases to the Justice Department to see what would be the most effective avenue of prosecution in either the criminal justice system or in the military courts, said National Security Adviser Lee Feinstein in a telephone interview. Obama would similarly look into trying the suspects in a mixture of civilian and military courts, foreign policy adviser Jeh Johnson, former general counsel of the Air Force under President Clinton, said over the telephone….”…BS
