    It all seems to hang together, until you think, ‘but wait a minute, they had a stock market crash a good one or two years before the banks went belly-up in the thirties.
    No, this is not the same. The stock market has fallen back some, but it hasn’t crashed and the whole world of commerce is much more diverse in what it is and where it is, than it was back then. The euro is certainly not catching a cold so far, and sterling has only had a little sneeze.
    Don’t let us start talking ourselves into a Depression, please!
