The Dalai Lama has since indicated that the number of dead is around 100.
Posted on 16-Mar-08 at 4:03 am | PermalinkI have made the personal decision that I will not be watching or taking any interest in the Bejing Olympics unless the Chinese provide some measure of self-rule for Tibet.
We, the people of the world can have much more effect on this situation than our governments, who for very good reasons have to keep the Chinese administration on-side.
But if we boycot The Games on an individual basis, the Chinese will get the kind of message that strikes at the very heart.
I hope someone reads this. It is important that someone with the internet capability organises this boycot.
