Ahmedinejad isn’t the issue

Fiery defiant rhetoric aside, Iran’s president has relatively little power to change policy in Iran. Its ambitions for local influence have deeper roots. That means we can negotiate with that government, and it is time to stop blaming its bellicose president for our failure to even attempt such negotiations…BS
