This Sunday’s Boston Globe pre-empts the usual Op-Ed page and substitutes a look back at the top “Unsung Stories of 2006”. For Professor Martha Bayles of Boston College, the most disturbing untold story of the last year is the acceptance of torture, not just by the CIA and the KGB, but by even common domestic criminals and TV writers – a disturbing and frankly (to me) revolting testament to the current moral bankruptcy of the US at home at abroad…BS
